GTA Straight Gaze Putting Laser

Good putting depends a great deal upon alignment. Having your eyes in the correct position in relationship to the ball will help with alignment. The eyes being over the ball is a must.

Just having them over the ball is not quite good enough.

In both illustration below the golfer's eyes are directly over the ball.

In the first illustration, note that his face is not pointing parallel to the ground.

The second illustration shows his face is parallel to the ground or what is consider a straight gaze.

Our natural instinct when walking are even driving a vehicle is the having our face in a position to have a straight gaze. This puts our eyes parallel to the horizon and when we want to view something left or right we simply turn our head in a level fashion.

In the first illustration, when rotating his head to view his target, the eyes would not be parallel to the target line. This would cause miss alignment.

In the second illustration, when rotating his head, the eyes would continue to be parallel to the target line and the alignment would be much better.

Attach the GTA Straight Gaze Putting Laser to your cap.

Gaze straight forward and adjust the laser clip or cap so the laser dot points at a spot on a wall exactly the height of your eyes from the floor.

When you are in your putting position, gaze straight down at the ball so that the laser dot is on the target line. This will assure you that your eyes are over the ball. This also sets the eyes straight and level out of the face and has the eyes parallel to the target line. When you look at the hole are target, rotate your head so that the laser traces you target line. Rotate back and gazes at the ball, than make you putt.
